Pigeon Forge’s Halloween season is one of the funniest times of the year. All of October is packed with Halloween adventures and activities for the whole family. So why not take a mini-vacation on Halloween weekend? Visit us at Pigeon Forge for some great fall fun. There is so much to do that it is quite overwhelming.

Halloween Spooktacular for Safety Day! (October 28):

On Thursday before Halloween, as part of the Halloween Spooktacular Safety Day, a free Halloween drive-through event with candy giveaways (contactless) will take place at cars at the Pigeon Forge Community Center, each vehicle receives a treasure hunt map that contains clues about other sweets and prizes that will be distributed during the event. It is a compulsory annual tradition that is free to the public.

Dollywood’s Great Pumpkin LumiNights!

Thousands of lighted lanterns will line the streets of Dollywood for Thanksgiving. This year, for the Great Pumpkin LumiNights in Wildwood Grove, a multitude of breath-taking sunflower seeds have bloomed and a huge 12-meter-long glowing pumpkin tree, and the largest pumpkin figure in life (Amber cup) promise that the event will be even greater than in previous years.

The Island hosts Trick-or-Treat Night:

On Halloween, kids can go trick-eating on the island. From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., kids can have trick dinners here on the island and enjoy spooky fountain shows and music all night.

Mountain Coaster at Rocky Top – Coasts and Goblins:

Rocky Top Mountain Coaster’s annual Coasts and Goblins Celebration includes Fright Nights every weekend in October. The routes and adventures of this roller coaster will delight the riders, who are also greeted by ghastly ghosts, ghouls, goblins, etc.

Take pictures with the town’s autumnal decorations:

There are plenty of autumn-themed photo opportunities in Pigeon Forge. At this time of year, local businesses go to great lengths with their fall decorations, putting up some of the most imaginative and exciting displays on the market. Scarecrows, pumpkins, and a handful of other autumn symbols. Don’t forget to check out Pigeon Forge Island as well as Old Mill Square and Dollywood which have stunning light shows perfect for family portraits. You can also see beautiful fall foliage on Wears Valley Road.

Visit Dollywood for live music and dazzling pumpkins:

From late September to late October, Dollywood hosts the LumiNights Harvest Festival and Great Pumpkin Nights. This fall, Dollywood is lit up with the colors and sounds of harvest time. Not only the skilled craftsmen of Dollywood have exhibited Craftsmen from all over the country will also be present. 50 award-winning rides and attractions to soar through the air and catch the cool autumn breeze. After dark, the park transforms into an autumn wonderland with thousands of carved pumpkins and other Christmas decorations that light up the night. The Pumpkin LumiNights show is a must for kids and adults alike.
